Dallas Dabrowski
(She/Her/Hers)
Dallas Dabrowski, B.A., B.S.W., M.S.W., R.S.W., is a Registered Social Worker with over 17 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families across hospital, school, and community settings. She currently works as a clinical therapist at McMaster Children’s Hospital in the Child & Adolescent Medicine program and also provides therapy through Hamilton Trauma Therapy, where she works with youth and caregivers navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, emotion regulation challenges, borderline personality disorder traits, and family stress.
Dallas has extensive training in evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Her approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and skills-based, helping clients better understand their emotions and develop tools they can use in everyday life.
Dallas believes that supporting young people often means supporting the entire family. Parenting is the hardest job there is. Many families come to therapy already doing the very best they can with the tools they have, and sometimes those tools simply aren’t enough for the challenges they’re facing. Dallas truly believes it takes a village to raise a child, and that no one should have to navigate these challenges alone. She feels honored to be part of the village supporting her clients and their families, working alongside youth and caregivers to build new skills, strengthen relationships, and help families move forward with greater confidence and connection.
Dallas brings a balance of warmth, humour, and straightforward honesty to her work. She values creating a space where clients feel genuinely understood while also feeling supported to look at patterns, try new approaches, and build practical skills that support lasting change in everyday life.
